Bir Ali

Miqat at Bir Ali to perform our 1st Umrah. First experience with our siblings & cousins is awesome.


After settling down, we made our Tawaf and Sa'ie Umrah. Guided by Ustaz Husnan, we made through it smoothly and finished at 3am.

We made our second and third Umrah the day after that and made our Miqat at Tanaeem and Jaaranah. We made our fourth Umrah at Hudaibiyah and made our Miqat there. We also visited the places around there and went to a place like camel farm where they got camel milk fresh from camels.  

Ka'abah

After all the four Umrahs were done, we had three days on our own. On 21 March 2012, we climbed Jabal Nur where Hira' cave was placed.

We left for Singapore on 23 March 2012,at 10am and the ride takes about one and a half hours to go to Jeddah International Airport. Before we leave, we made our Tawaf Wada' to say goodbye to this Holy place with a heavy heart.

Our plane would transit at Abu Dhabi, just like before. I slept throughout the flight to Singapore as we would reach there the next day. We reached Singapore on 24 March 2012 at 1pm safely.

At Madinah Al-Munawwarah



We reached Jeddah International Airport at 12.15am [Singapore time]. I was feeling very sleepy but forced myself to be awake while waiting for the bus to Madinah Al-Munawwarah by eating chewing gums!

 The bus we took to Madinah stopped at the resting area nearby and we took a break to pray in a mosque nearby.

We reached our hotel at Madinah at 8.30am [Singapore time], 3am [Madinah time].

After checking in, we went up to our rooms to wash up for Subuh prayers,at that point of time,Singapore would be 9am but here, it was 4.30am!

 We went back to get ready for our Zuhr prayers at 11.30am[Madinah time]. The next day,we visited  Masjid Qiblatain and Masjid Quba..On the day after that,my mother bought me and my sister to Raudhatul Jannah. On 15 March, we left Madinah with a heavy heart, and continued our journey to Makkatul Mukarramah.

On the way to Jeddah

Relatives,cousins and close families of mine and my family were standing inside Terminal 2 at Changi Airport. That day was one of the greatest day of my life as I am going for Umrah.We followed An-Nur Travel to go there. After bading goodbye to our families,we went into the Immigration Custom.


We took Singapore Airlines and the flight from Singapore to Jeddah takes about 10 hours as the airplane will be transitting at Abu Dhabi before going to Jeddah.

Finally,it was time to wave Singapore goodbye. The plane took off at high speed and my ears got a bit painful with the noises while taking off.

The plane landed at Abu Dhabi at about 8.18pm [Singapore time]. When it was landing, all electrical devices had to be switched off, including handphones, to avoid those items to interfere with the plane's computer[communication with control tower] . It takes about 1 hour to wait for some passengers to get off or get on the plane.
